Acoustic Ceiling Panels

Acoustic Ceiling Panels are the perfect solution to a noisy room. Installing the correct number of acoustic panels will lower noise levels

Acoustic Ceiling Panels

Over the last 5 years SoundFix Acoustics has completed hundreds of acoustic installations across many different businesses. Most of our clients are looking for the following outcomes:

  • A substantial reduction in overall noise levels
  • A substantial reduction in the rooms reverberation time, or a reduction in the severity of the echo.
  • Improved clarity in the spoken word or music.
  • A product that can blend into the existing architectural features of the room
  • A cost effective solution that gives the client value.

SoundFix Acoustics has settled on two products to achieve these goals.

Acoustic Foam Products

The SoundFix Square is a 24” x 24” x 1.5” bevel edge panel that comes in boxes of six and is white in colour.

The SoundFix Rectangle is a 47” x 23” x 1.5” bevel edge panel that is also supplied in boxes of six.

Both products can be supplied in any colour at an additional cost to our white acoustic panels

How does the products work?

Both these products have been designed to absorb almost 100% of what we would call mid to high range frequencies, that is all sounds above 500 Hz. When humans were being made our ears were designed so that if a person had perfect hearing then they would be able to hear sounds in the frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. However, our hearing is particularly sensitive in the range from 500 Hz through to 5,000 Hz. At 1.5” in thickness our sound absorbing acoustic panels will absorb more than 80% of the sound that strikes the surface of the panel and hence prevents it being unwantedly reflected to other parts of the room.
